In April 2025. the government of Comoros announced that concession for Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport will be officially awarded on 1 May 2025, when it will hand over the airport key to Terminals Holding Group as part of a 30-year concession. Terminals Holding Group is expected to invest "100 million dollars over the period 2025-2027 for investments in the infrastructure needed to support the Indian Ocean Island Games" planned for the Comoros in 2027.
