Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V.,(OMA) saw a significant recovery in passenger traffic from the pandemic across its airports over the 9 months ended 30 Sept 2022.

OMA’s airports handled a total of 16.8 million passengers over the 9-month period ended 30 Sept 2022, which was a 32.3% increase compared to the number of passengers handled in the same period in the year 2021, and a 2.7% decline compared to the number of passengers handled in the same period in the year 2019.

While over the 9-month period ended 30 Sept 2022, the passenger throughput for OMA’s airports was very close to pre-COVID levels. However, more significantly, OMA’s airports handled 6.3 million passengers in the 3rd quarter of 2022, which was 2.0% higher than the passenger traffic for the 3rd quarter of 2019, meaning that OMA’s passenger traffic had reached full recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

OMA’s improved performance in passenger traffic also translated into improved financial performance.
