The past twelve months have seen a slew of achievements for Vantage Airport Group at its airport businesses in the United States.

Apart from the numerous awards and accolades that the Vantage Airport Group has earned for its development of LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B, the Group has taken over management of John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 7, and started construction of the airport’s new Terminal 6. It has also celebrated the launch of its concession programme at the new terminal of Kansas City International Airport.

In August 2023, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) announced that LaGuardia Airport’s new Terminal B has won the National Academy of Construction’s inaugural Recognition of Special Achievement Award.

The award celebrates the creativity, innovation, and vision behind the construction of a world-class airport terminal.

At the World Airport Awards held on 15 March 2023 at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam, LaGuardia Terminal B earned two spectacular accolades from leading global airport rating firm, Skytrax.

Based on feedback from thousands of passengers surveyed internationally, Terminal B was awarded Best New Airport Terminal in the world, and additionally became the first airport terminal in North America to earn the highest global 5-Star Rating from Skytrax, joining just 21 other airports and terminals worldwide to achieve this ranking.

Months earlier in December 2022, The NYC & Company Foundation honoured the New LaGuardia Airport for its contribution to New York City’s tourism industry and credited the completion of the $8 billion airport transformation earlier in the year as a key to the city’s recovery from COVID.
