From Jeddah to the Red Sea and the Philippines: daai’s Year in Growth

Over the past twelve months, daa International (daai) has reported solid momentum across its managed and partner airports, with headline indicators anchored by passenger throughput and financial performance.
At King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah—where daai supports Jeddah Airports Company (Jedco) under a multi-year contract—aggregate traffic continued its post-pandemic expansion. Since the partnership began in 2022, KAIA’s passenger volumes have risen by approximately 60%, surpassing 50 million by January 2025, reflecting the broadening carrier mix and network recovery at Terminal 1.
Within the most recent year, KAIA processed 49.1 million passengers, up 14% year on year, alongside 278,000 flights, an 11% increase on 2023—indicators that captured both underlying demand and improved schedule density.
Consistent peak-period strength supported these totals: as of 23 March 2025, KAIA had completed 20 consecutive weeks with more than one million passengers and was on track to handle 15 million passengers by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
