The airports in Fraport’s portfolio saw significant growth in terms of passenger throughput for the year 2022.

Frankfurt Airport, which is the busiest airport in the Fraport group of airports saw a passenger throughput of 48.9 million passengers in 2022, a 97.1% increase in the number of passengers handled in 2021. Other Fraport operated airports which saw a more than 70% year-on-year growth in passenger traffic in 2022 included Fraport Greece’s airports (79.0% average), Lima Airport (72.0%), Burgas Airport (72.2%) and Ljubljana Airport (>100%).

On the whole, all of the Fraport-operated airports saw a year-on-year growth rate in passenger traffic of over 35% in 2022.
