Expansions Take Place at AGUNSA’s Airports Alongside a Strong Recovery in 2022

In 2022, the three AGUNSA-operated airports benefited from the overall recovery from the pandemic in Chile.

At Chacalluta Airport, 290,853 passengers departed the terminal from January 2022 to November 2022. This was 50.2% higher compared to the same period in 2021.

Between April 2022 and November 2022, 190,924 passengers departed the Chacalluta Airport terminal, and this was 23% lower than in the same period in 2019.

At El Tepual Airport, the number of departing passengers handled from January 2022 to November 2022 was 777,954, which was 65.3% higher than the number of passengers handled in the same period in 2021. The number of departing passengers handled at El Tepual Airport during the period was also -12.7% lower than in the same period in 2019, indicating that passenger traffic at El Tepual is very close to full recovery from the pandemic.

At El Loa Airport, the number of departing passengers handled from January 2022 to November 2022 was 803,743, which was 38.8% higher than the number of departing passengers handled in the same period in 2021, but 23.2% lower than the number of departing passengers handled in the same period in 2019.
