The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is Qatar's sovereign wealth fund. In October 2023, the QIA has an estimated US$475bn of assets under management.

Apart from direct investments in airports, QIA also owns 100% of Qatar Holding LLC and Qatar Airways, through which it invests in airports in Europe and Asia.
