CCR’s Multi-Airport Air Cargo Strategy in Brazil Takes Off with the Consolidation of 15 Airports

CCR’s airport assets in Brazil, Curacao, Costa Rica and Ecuador saw significant growth in the year 2022 in terms of passenger traffic, signalling a continued recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fastest growth was seen at Curacao and Quito Airports, where departing passenger traffic saw a year-on-year growth of close to 80%.

For the first quarter of 2023, CCR Airports reported that the number of passengers boarded at its airports increased by 132.9% in the period compared to the previous period in 2022.
In particular, the block of 16 airports managed by CCR Airports in Brazil recorded a growth of 21% in April 2023 when compared to the same period a year before.
For the year 2022, CCR’s revenue from airports saw a year-on-year growth of 56% to BRL1.85bn from BRL1.1bn. In Brazil, more than BRL13mn was passed on to municipalities by CCR Airports.
