AGUNSA Bags Significant Wins in 2023

The three Chilean airports operated by AGUNSA – Chacalluta, El Loa and El Tepual – have seen significant recovery in terms of passenger traffic in 2023 compared to the previous year.
Last year, AGUNSA won the re-concession of El Loa Airport and is the driver's seat with their Emirati partner for the new concession of the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados, while at the same time expanding its airport ground-handling business in Chile.

Chacalluta Airport handled 646,537 passengers in the period from January to November 2023. This was a 9.9% increase from the number of passengers handled in the same period in 2022, but still 21.6% lower than the number of passengers handled in the same period in 2019.
El Loa Airport handled 2.03 million passengers in the period from January to November 2023. This was a 25.3% increase from the number of passengers handled the same period in 2022, but 2.8% lower than the number of passengers handled in the same period in 2019.
