Overview

The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) is one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers. Incorporated as a Crown Corporation in 1999, its mandate is to invest funds for four pension plans:

  • The Federal Public Service
  • The Canadian Forces
  • The Reserve Force
  • The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

As of 31 March 2023, PSP Investments has CAD243.7bn of assets under management.

PSP Investments manages a diversified global portfolio composed of investments in public financial markets, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources, and private debt.

It is an investor in four airports in Europe and one in the Americas through its wholly owned subsidiary AviAlliance and is also an investor in the Indian airport sector through its investment in the NIIF.
