An Expression of Interest (EOI) has been issued for a PPP to operate and manage the ANC 8-gate international terminal through a private third-party operator. The phased terminal modernization plan aims to bring ANC facilities and service levels up to international standards including common areas, retail shops, restaurants and VIP lounges, as well as increasing route development. ANC is the fifth busiest air cargo airport globally, with 79% of the Asian to North American freighter fleet utilizing the airport due to its strategic geographic location.
