Jun. 15, 2021 – AYT is currently operated by Fraport AG and TAV Havalimanlari Holding AS under a concession that expires in 2027, following a short extension granted due to the COVID19 pandemic. The Turkish State Airports Authority (DHMI) plans to put a new concession up for auction by year-end.

Nov. 30, 2021 – Service charges for the new concession have been set at €17 per outgoing int’l passenger and €3 per outgoing domestic passenger during the new 25 year concession period.
