Based on World Bank recommendations provided in early 2018, the Namibian government is considering upgrade/expansion of Hosea Kutako Int’l Airport under a PPP structure. Terminal and runway upgrades estimated at US$200-400m. The gov’t is also considering option of a Chinese loan to develop and deliver the upgrade plan.
