The Indonesian gov’t is seeking private sector investors for development of a new airport project in Singkawang, West Kalimantan, under a PPP/BOT structure. The project calls for a USD308m commitment, including USD122m in capital investment and USD186m in operating costs. With construction completion targeted for 2023, the new airport is expected to generate USD1.12b in aeronautical revenue and USD150m in non-aeronautical revenue over the 32 year term of the concession.
